About

As Head of School, it is my pleasure to warmly welcome you to Gilmorton Chandler Primary School. We are an incredibly special school where our ethos is encapsulated in our vision, Growing Well and Flourishing Together. This guiding principle is at the very heart of everything we do, creating a nurturing environment where our pupils can thrive both academically and personally.

Our vision as a school community is deeply rooted in the parable of the mustard seed from Marks gospel. We firmly believe that every act, no matter how small, holds the potential to make an enormous difference. This fundamental belief drives us to cultivate an atmosphere where ambition flourishes and everyone is welcome.

We are incredibly ambitious for our pupils, and our dedicated staff team works tirelessly to encourage our children to achieve their highest potential. At Gilmorton, joy and hope are integral aspects of our school culture. You can witness this positivity in our vibrant playground, engaging lessons and the supportive interactions that occur throughout the school day.

Both our children and staff take immense pride in being part of Gilmorton Chandler Primary School, as well as being integral members of the Inspiring Primaries Academy Trust.

Governing body (7 current, 0 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

2 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
