About

Porter Croft is a Converter Church of England Academy that will preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church at parish and diocesan level. It is the purpose of all Church Schools and Academies to serve the community in which they are located and so this is our mission. A new command I give you: Love one another.

As I have loved you, so you must love one another. John 13:34 The Academy aims to serve its community by providing education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice. It encourages an understanding of the meaning and significance of faith and promotes Christian values through the experiences it offers all its pupils.

We have close links with the two neighbouring parishes of St Mary's (Bramall Lane) and St Augustine's (Brocco Bank). Clergy and other Church members are actively involved in the life of the Academy. The Academy has special services at Church at various times throughout the year.

Governing body (16 current, 0 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

8 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
