About

» Academy Information » Welcome from Mrs Armstrong, Principal As Principal of Inspire Academy, I would like extend a very warm welcome to all visitors to our website and to offer you the opportunity to come and visit us in Ashton under Lyne.

Inspire is a vibrant, welcoming, aspirational, community-focused, two-form entry primary school and there is a warmth in our school that we hope you will feel as soon as you enter. I am immensely proud of the achievements that we have made since opening in September 2015.

Having built one year at a time, we are now a full school and have worked hard to become the school of choice in the local area. Our children are happy, confident and hardworking – we help them to set their learning in the context of the wider world and to aim high, reaching for their dreams and being supported to overcome any barriers along the way.

We are in a wonderful new building with great teaching and support staff and with a wealth of wider learning and extended learning opportunities to help our children excel and succeed.

In the school’s own words, from the school website.
