About

As-Salaamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullahi Wa Barakatuh (Peace be upon you and Gods mercy and blessings). Madani Academy is the first Muslim faith school in Portsmouth, located in the centre of the city. We are an independent school, which first opened its doors to pupils in September 2014 as Madani Academy Primary School.

Having set a strong foundation with our Primary School and receiving a 'Good' rating by Ofsted in June 2019, we were granted permission by the DfE in July 2021 to establish a Girls Secondary School Alhamdulillah.

Madani aspires to provide the highest quality of education, teaching the Department of Education's National Curriculum in a nurturing and safe environment, enriched with Islamic ethos.

Our school is a warm and vibrant community, with our dedicated staff endeavouring to not only maintain but continuously improve the quality and standards of care and education for all our students.
