About

GLF Schools GLF Schools GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a Mat of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.

Forge Wood Primary School opened in 2016 and is now a full and oversubscribed two form entry primary school. We are extremely proud of our Outstanding achievements and strive to sustain this every day for all our families. All staff and leaders at Forge Wood embrace the vision for all to Aspire, Explore and Achieve. It is at the heart of what we do.

The reason for this is that the children at Forge Wood, deserve the very best of education to give them opportunities for success in the future. This comes from all adults having the highest expectations of every child.

Delivered through quality first teaching and access to an ambitious curriculum.Focusing on the basic skills through our Oracy strategy, enabling all children a gateway to social mobility and future success regardless of background or experience.
