Woodhouse Academy

Our values are captured in the acronym REWARD - Respect, Encouragement, Working hard, Aspiration, Resilience, and Determination. We believe that good behaviour and commitment to these values should be recognised, and we celebrate this through our housepoint system, where students can earn badges, prizes and recognition for embodying our values.

Each half term, we focus on a specific school value, and at the end of the half-term, a 'value winner' is selected. Parents are invited to join a special celebration assembly to share in their child's achievements and recognise the ways our students live out our values.

We also encourage our values and celebrate achievements through assemblies, certificates, and rewards afternoons, highlighting the ways students demonstarte our values inside and outside the classroom. Every student also participates in a community project, helping to strengthen our school community while putting our values into action.

Our values are fully embedded accross the curriculum, ensurring that every aspect of learning supports students to become respectful, resilient, aspirational members of society who are ready to work for a brighter future.
