About

A message from the Executive Headteacher and Head of School A warm welcome to the St Paulinus Catholic Primary School website. Here you can find out about our school, our values, and what matters most to us. "To love one another, as I have loved you." Our mission is at the heart of everything we do.

At St Paulinus, we aim to nurture every member of our school community academically, spiritually, morally and socially. We recognise that each person has their own God-given talents; we are all God's work of art. St Paulinus provides a dynamic, forward-thinking education that draws on the latest educational research.

Our curriculum is coherent, connected and cumulative , setting out the precise knowledge, skills and vocabulary pupils need to achieve ambitious goals. From their first day, pupils are encouraged to go beyond acquiring knowledge to developing deeper understanding and skills. We promote higher-order thinking, encouraging children to apply their learning to new situations.

Regular practice and revisiting prior knowledge ensure that pupils build secure understanding and confidence in their abilities.

Governing body (10 current, 3 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
