About

Live a life of love just as Jesus loved us , Ephesians 5 verse 2 . We would like to wish you a warm welcome to our school. Witchampton Church of England First School is an extremely happy school and we are very proud that our school was judged to be Good in all areas in March 2023.

Ofsted noted: Witchampton's ethos of being a small school with a big heart making a difference is reflected in the actions of staff and pupils. We aim to preserve the friendly atmosphere and ethos of a small rural village school, and prepare children for the future through an understanding and knowledge of Christianity and Christian values.

Our Christian values of Love, Courage, Inspiration and Respect were chosen by the school community and these are reflected in that we do.

We are also very proud of our excellent outcome in our church school inspection in July 2019 which concluded that: Pupils and adults are supported to flourish spiritually, emotionally and academically in a culture of holistic care that pervades the school. This transforms the lives of families in the community.
