About

A Warm Welcome from Claire Austin - Head of School Welcome to Wisewood Nursery & Primary School. It is a real pleasure to introduce you to our wonderful school a caring, inclusive and welcoming community offering education for children aged 2 to 11. As a small school at the heart of a close‑knit community, we take pride in knowing every child personally.

Each pupil is recognised and celebrated for their unique qualities and achievements, and we work closely with parents and the wider community to build the positive relationships that help our children grow into happy, confident learners. Families choose us because they want their child to feel known, valued, supported, and inspired every single day.

At Wisewood we have high aspirations for every pupil. Our children consistently achieve above the national average in reading, writing, and maths, and our performance exceeds that of many local schools. Our Early Years outcomes are also above local and national figures, reflecting the strength of our provision from the very start of a childs learning journey.

We combine high-quality teaching, personalised support, and a strong curriculum to ensure that every child is encouraged, nurtured, and celebrated.
