About

Headteacher's Welcome A place to belong, create & succeed Welcome to The Charter School East Dulwich. We are an inclusive, dynamic and academically rigorous secondary school serving the vibrant communities of East Dulwich and South Camberwell. Founded in 2016, we are proud to be one of the most oversubscribed new schools in the country.

Our founding students have set a high standard, excelling in their GCSEs and A Levels, achieving results well above the national average. As a part of The Charter Schools Educational Trust, we firmly believe that excellent education transforms lives and strengthens the diverse communities we serve.

At The Charter School East Dulwich, we foster curiosity, hard work, care, and integrity in our students. Our goal is to celebrate our diverse community, educating our students to thrive and confidently shape their futures with a love of learning, excellent qualifications and strength of character.

We are a school at the heart of our community, where families are important and all voices matter. Relationships are built on the foundations of compassion, equality and mutual respect, so that students, families and staff are valued and free to excel.
