About

About Our Academy / Our Vision / Our Aims Oaklands Primary Academy is a vibrant and inclusive learning community for children aged 2 to 11 years. We are proud to provide a high standard of education within a caring and stimulating environment, where pupil numbers continue to grow year on year.

Our children are taught in mixed-ability classes and benefit from excellent facilities across two main buildings, each equipped with a central hall/gymnasium, safety-surfaced playgrounds, and shared creative spaces. The Academy is fully equipped with ICT resources, including wireless connectivity, laptops, and tablets, supporting modern, engaging teaching and learning.

We are also fortunate to be located at the heart of a beautiful, unspoilt valley, providing a rich natural environment ideal for outdoor learning and nature studies. Parental involvement is highly valued at Oaklands.

Our thriving Parents and Friends Association (PFA) plays a key role in school life, supporting fundraising efforts and helping us enhance the learning environment with additional resources and experiences. We strongly believe that our families are an integral part of our Academy and wider community.

Governing body (4 current, 0 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

2 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
