It is my great pleasure to welcome you to the Darrick Wood Junior School website. I am conscious of the fact that this website will act as a window through which many different people will view our school. Some of those people may already know the school well, others may be finding out about it for the very first time.
In that sense, I hope our website genuinely does have something for everybody. It is my heart-felt belief that DWJS is a truly special school. We are blessed with staff who are, without exception, committed to the well-being, happiness, growth and development of the young people in our care each day.
Working together we provide an environment where each and every pupil feels valued and learning can flourish.
