Stepney Primary School has approximately 220 pupils, with 20 of this number in the schools nursery. The school itself is based in a grade two listed building, built in 1886 and opened to pupils in May 1887. The school strives to be an outstanding, learning-centered school, which is forward; breaking down the barriers, widening the horizons!
It is a community of children and adults in which everyone contributes, everyone enjoys and learns, and where everyone is valued. A small school with great expectations. We are part of the Thrive Co-operative Learning Trust and work in partnership with 6 other primary schools and 3 secondary schools in the city.

Governing body (10 current, 1 former)

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
