About

Not that I have already obtained this or am already perfect, but I press on to make it my own, because Christ Jesus has made me his own. A skill is the ability to do something well. Most people assume that learning is natural as we do it from birth. However, reading and writing are a relatively new skill in the history of mankind and therefore much harder to achieve.

Study skills are the range of techniques used to acquire and expand knowledge and understanding. As students mature, they need to become more responsible for their own education and develop the independence to plan, complete and review their learning.

In short: Whilst teachers manage this in school for all students, it is important that your child develop these skills for themselves. Why is it important for my child to develop these skills?
