At Solent, our aim is simple: to provide a high-quality education for all children within the community we serve. Solent Junior School provides a caring and nurturing educational environment at the centre of its local community.
Working as part of the De Curci Trust, we pride ourselves on the standard of teaching throughout the school and the wide and enriching academic and pastoral curriculum we offer all of our pupils.
In addition to our core teaching and learning staff, we have a wide range of specialist teachers so that children develop their abilities to the highest standards in sport, dance, French and music.
The learning in the classroom is complemented by a wide range of visits, residential trips and visitors to school for all children because we know that memorable experiences are key to learning and to a child's enjoyment of school.

Governing body (7 current, 2 former)
iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).
Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
