About

Baxter College will be a values driven school that: Everyone is entitled to feel safe and happy in school. Everyone should feel known, valued and have someone to turn to. Our community is built on mutual respect and collective responsibility. We should all have the opportunity to achieve our personal best, unlocking our potential.

Learners should be supported and successful as individuals regardless of background. Everyone has a voice that contributes to the democratic running of the school. We should provide opportunities to develop a global perspective and genuine aspiration. The values that define what we do at Baxter College are aligned with the fundamental British Values that define us as a nation.

All students have an active voice at Baxter College, through their year councils and student parliament. The year council and student parliament are built on democracy and provide students with the first-hand experience of democracy in action. The active voice students' provide include setting elements of the code of conduct.
