About

Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions you will make as a parent, so I am delighted that you have taken time to have a look at our website to explore what we offer at BWA and that you may wish to come to see us in action one day soon.

Every day I have the great privilege of being surrounded by happy BWA pupils who love coming to school and feel safe. Belleville Wix Academy is a very successful, vibrant and inclusive school in Battersea. There has been a school on this site since 1902.

We are part of the Quality First Education (Q1E) Trust , a multi-academy primary Trust of four schools which was established by nearby Belleville Primary School. Our last ungraded Ofsted inspection was in February 2025 where we received the best possible outcome for that type of inspection.

This means there is sufficient evidence to suggest that the school would be judged outstanding in a graded inspection. You can read the full report here .
