A very warm welcome to Walker Riverside Academy, a fantastic school of which I am extremely proud to be the Headteacher. We are an 11-16 secondary school with over 1,200 students on roll, an excellent local reputation, and an ethos that epitomises the aspirations we have for our young people.
We help our students to aim high in both their academic and career aspirations, supporting them at every step and guiding them upon options available. It is the daily embodiment of this ethos that makes Walker a truly special school community. We have outstanding facilities to help the development of our students in sporting, musical, vocational, and academic fields.
I would be delighted to both meet and show you first hand the wonderful academy we have here at Walker and how this would be the right choice for your child.
