GLF Schools GLF Schools GLF Schools was founded in 2012 in order to enable the federation of Glyn School (an academy in 2011) and Danetree Junior School. Together, we began our journey to become a Mat of more than 1000 talented staff working with over 10,000 children in 40 schools across 5 regions in southern England.
On behalf of the staff and local School Standards Board, we would like to welcome you personally to our school website. At The Vale, we are committed to ensuring every child strives for excellence. Here we promote a passion for life-long learning through an enriched curriculum that is active, purposeful and challenging in a nurturing environment.
There are also many extracurricular opportunities in sport, drama productions, outdoor learning and music. A central pillar of our curriculum is the effective implementation of the Thrive approach, which supports our children to have the mental health and well-being to be successful learners and well-rounded citizens for the 21 st century.
All of us at The Vale are incredibly proud of our children and their behaviours for learning that demonstrate our Vale Learner qualities:
