About

Welcome to St Margaret Clitherow Primary School and Nursery where 'We live to love, learn and respect and follow Jesus who says, 'Love one another as I have loved you.' It is a great pleasure to welcome you to our school through this website and I hope that you will find it both helpful and interesting.

We encourage everyone to have high aspirations and work in partnership with one another so that each child feels valued and is successful. From Nursery/Primary to Secondary school, we would like our children to be successful individuals who contribute to the community.

We expect children to develop and show a sense of responsibility and self-discipline whether alone or together at work or at play. We actively promote the common good and British values (democracy, the rule of law, individual liberty, mutual respect and tolerance of those with different faiths and beliefs) to prepare our pupils for life in modern day Britain.

We have high expectations of good behaviour based on the teachings of Jesus Christ through the Gospels and on mutual respect and consideration for our fellow human beings.

Governing body (5 current, 4 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
