About

Sonning Church of England Primary School, set in the beautiful village of Sonning, is a community school that balances high academic results with a clear vision for supporting children emotionally and as community-minded citizens.

Sonning Church of England Primary School is a special place, and there is a palpable sense of aspiration, purpose and pride among every child and member of staff you meet. Pupils, staff and governors live by our vision and values, and this can be seen in every area of Sonning Church of England Primary School.

Based on our Christian vision of Building Strong Foundations for the Years Ahead, our broad, inclusive and ambitious curriculum offers opportunities for all, while outstanding facilities and a number of involved and supportive community partnerships provide an abundance of extra-curricular activities and opportunities.

This means that, as well as achieving very strong results in English and Maths, Sonning Church of England Primary School provides a broad, balanced and truly holistic education. On Friday 04 July, we enjoyed the annual Sonning Village Rounders match.
