About

I am so excited to have begun my journey as the new headteacher here and I have been overwhelmed by the warm welcome I have had from the children and staff. It really is a wonderful Fairlands family to be part of. Of course our school is at the heart of the Wessex Learning Trust, an ever-growing group of schools with one aim, to improve the lives of children and young people.

Our mission is that all children can thrive in our care, and achieve the very best outcomes to set them on a journey to a successful future.

We truly value the individual here, and whatever your childs interests or talents, we are all working hard to achieve a wonderful broad and balanced experience that gives every child the skills, knowledge and experiences they need for living in modern Britain.

Fairlands is set in a stunning location, nestled in the Cheddar valley and we really do make the most of all our beautiful county has to offer. Our provision includes specialist teaching and spaces for science, technology and art, and we are lucky to have an expansive school field and sports offer.
