Lodge farm is a small alternative education provision, based on an 8-acre smallholding. Our therapeutic setting and approach offer space and privacy for students with additional needs to grow, mature, and achieve their potential. We operate as a traditional farm which includes horses, donkeys, sheep, goats, rabbits, chickens, geese, small birds and cats and dogs.
Lodge farm has been operating since 2012, originally as part of a larger school organisation, but we are proud to announce that we have been a fully independent organisation since December 2020.
Lodge farm Education provides a meaningful alternative education opportunity for young people aged 11 – 17 who have not been able to progress within mainstream or traditional special needs settings.
We have a proud history of finding individual solutions to the challenges that our young students face, both in their ability to engage positively in learning and in developing their social and emotional selves. This is underpinned by a therapeutic and nurturing approach built upon the skills and experience of our dedicated team.
