About

I hope the information Here you will find provides you with a flavour of our exceptional school and the wide range of opportunities available to our pupils. St Peter's is a special place and, as a former pupil myself, I feel truly privileged and honoured to now serve as its Headteacher. Saint Peter is the Rock of the Catholic Church and the first Pope.

Like him, we encourage our pupils to use their God-given talents to serve others and to live out our mission that Faith is Our Foundation . We firmly believe every pupil is created in the image of God, each with unique gifts and a purpose to make the world a better place.

At St Peter s, we celebrate diversity, encourage ambition, and nurture a culture of tolerance, respect, and care for one another. In March 2025, Ofsted judged St Peter's Outstanding in all areas , placing us in the top 4% of schools nationally.

Inspectors highlighted the exceptional quality of education, our highly ambitious curriculum, and the outstanding personal development of our pupils. This report provides external validation of the commitment, hard work, and high standards that define our community.

Governing body (12 current, 6 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
