Alpha Learning Staffordshire

Alpha Learning is the brainchild of Lindon Newbon . Lindon is a professional boxing coach who has not only trained World Champions but is, also, extremely passionate about improving the life-chances of all young people, using his boxing gyms as the USP.

This grew naturally and, over the years as his successes grew, numerous requests from various agencies, including the Police, PREVENT, Local Authorities and Schools were made, asking for support for young people who needed guidance to make the right choices.

As demand grew, so did Lindon's desire to expand the support offered and, in time, this extended into education and schooling. Over the years, this has meant his gyms and Alternative Provision has, literally, changed the lives of hundreds of young people in the Stoke-on-Trent area.

Today, Alpha Learning is based is a modern bright building in Hobson STreet, Burslem, Stoke-on-Trent. We have 5 classrooms, IT suite, dedicated nurture room, large assembly and recreation room, large professional boxing and gym facilities and can cater for up to 30 students a day. Alpha has a multi-skilled, specialist teaching, admin and support staff.
