About

Community-Ed Academy believes in working holistically, using a child-centred approach; building trust, modelling appropriate behaviour and providing positive reinforcement to raise self-esteem, empowering our students to make the right choices Celebrating Success: Our Summer BBQ and Student-Led Fete at Community-Ed Academy, we believe in celebrating success – not only academic progress but also the personal growth and resilience our students demonstrate every day.

For some, this has been their first full year in education for a long time. Many have overcome significant barriers, including anxiety around school, and we're incredibly proud of the determination they've shown in engaging fully with learning and school life.

Our end-of-year Summer BBQ is a highlight of the school calendar and a chance to bring everyone together – students, staff, parents, carers, and the professionals who've supported us throughout the year. It's a day filled with pride, celebration, and connection.

It's especially rewarding to see students take real ownership of their school, proudly showing their families around and sharing in the year's achievements and work on display.
