As a small school in a rural area, we have strong connections to our unique community. Our nurturing environment, creative curriculum and enrichment opportunities allow children and adults to grow the strong roots they need to flourish.
The Parable of the Sower encapsulates the elements needed in our aim for children to become independent, reflective and aspirational learners for life. It runs throughout school life and is the foundation of our policy and practice.
Jesus told the Parable of the Sower to illustrate how those who hear the Word of God and are open to it, go forth to grow in strength and have the ability to further spread His News. We use the Parable of the Sower to unite our school community in its understanding of what we hope to achieve.
We believe that Amberley Parochial school offers the fertile soil needed for all to be able to develop deep roots and flourish.
