About

I am pleased to have the opportunity of introducing you to Park View Primary School. I would like you to know as much about us as possible: how we organise the school and the things we do together as a school community to ensure that the children have happy and successful school days. Park View School was opened in 1932 but has seen major redevelopments in recent years.

The traditional school buildings have been enhanced by a purpose built Reception block, constructed in 1991 and by an impressive unit for Year 6 pupils, which opened in 1994, containing two classrooms, a resource area, toilets and cloakroom facilities. The Nursery classroom opened in January 1995 and was demolished and rebuilt in 2015.

This, together with the Reception block, forms our Foundation Stage. Further developments in recent years have seen whole school redecoration; improved office and staff facilities and enhanced cloakroom and toilet facilities for all pupils. Throughout school new flooring; doors; blinds; desks and chairs have been installed.

School has also made a significant investment in our ICT provision, with Laptops; Ipads; Kindles and Skype facility all freely available to help children learn.
