About

"The Castle School Education Trust is committed to high quality education across the primary, secondary and sixth form key stages. Our schools cover the South Gloucestershire area. We encourage independence within each school within a strong framework of values." Thank you for taking the time to visit our school website.

Tortworth is small and friendly school in a special rural setting and we aim to make the most of this every day. Our small team of dedicated staff put our children at the heart of everything we do and make sure they are inspired, challenged and motivated. We value all of our children's achievements, both academic and personal, and their individuality.

We want our children to develop the self-confidence and skills needed to succeed in their education at Tortworth and beyond. Visits are warmly welcomed so please contact the school to arrange a suitable time. If you require a paper copy of any of the information Here you will find then we will be pleased to help. To obtain this please contact the school office.

Governing body (6 current, 2 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

2 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
