Let everything you do be done with love at St Nicholas we have a dedicated and experienced team who, with the support of our governors, ensure that St Nicholas is a happy, vibrant and thriving school where children Learn, Achieve and Grow, Together.
Through our bespoke Global Explorer Curriculum we are committed to educating the whole child and value every child for their unique gifts. We provide a safe environment to promote their development academically, emotionally, socially and spiritually.
We aim to make learning fun, exciting and purposeful providing memorable experiences which ignite curiosity, inspire ambition and build confidence. Owl class are having a fantastic time at the Milestones Museum today. We know that children who know all their times tables by the end of year 4 find it much easier to access the challenging maths curriculum of year 5 and 6.
Year 4 are working really hard to learn their times tables. Keep up the good work!! Maths starts to get really complicated in Year 5. Today children used counters to support their understanding to turn improper fractions into mixed numbers by finding the wholes and parts. Great job year 5!
