As Principal of South Bank University Sixth Form, it is my privilege to welcome you to a community that is proud to serve the young people of Brixton and the wider boroughs of Lambeth, Southwark and Lewisham. Our roots are firmly planted in this vibrant part of London – a place known for its diversity, creativity and resilience.
Those same qualities are at the heart of our sixth form. I am fortunate to lead a team of outstanding educators who share my values and my commitment to transforming the lives of young people. Having dedicated more than 20 years to post-16 education, I know both the challenges and the incredible potential that exist for underrepresented communities.
That is why everything we do at SBUSixth is built on one belief: every student deserves the very best opportunities to succeed. Since my appointment as Principal in August 2024, our students' achievements have been remarkable.
We are proud to celebrate a 100% pass rate across all qualifications, with 79% of A-Level grades at A*–C and 80% of BTEC results ranging from DDD* to MMM. Behind these numbers are stories of determination, support, and a community that never stops believing in its young people.

Governing body (0 current, 5 former)
iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.1 governor is linked to a profile (all confirmed).
Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
