About

Crown Street Primary School opened in September 2024, initially providing 30 Reception places and up to 36 Pre-School places. A further Reception and Pre-School class will be added each academic year, until we become a thriving 210 pupil primary school – from Reception to Year 6 – in 2030. Each year the school will also provide 24 places within our Pre-School.

Inspired by our setting amidst the tallest buildings in the city, our vision is to provide 'education on another level, where possibilities are endless'. Crown Street Primary is an inclusive, non-selective, non-denominational school where all pupils can thrive, regardless of their background or circumstance. Crown Street Primary School is part of the Laurus Trust .

As a Trust, we understand the vital importance of an outstanding Early Years experience in making sure that every pupil gets off to a flying start. We treat every child as an individual and we provide just the right amount of challenge and support for them to develop their potential.

Happy children make the best learners, and so we place the personal development of all our pupils at the centre of everything we do.
