About

Share this page on X Email this page Welcome Welcome to St Mary's and St John's Church of England school (SMSJ), one of three schools in the Wren Academies Trust. We are honoured to have the opportunity to lead this thriving all-through school which provides an excellent education from Nursery through to Sixth Form.

Our distinct Christian vision is inspired by a firm belief that .. with God all things are possible . This foundational bible passage encourages every member of our diverse and close-knit community to aim for the best and excel in all aspects of life.

A commitment to the guiding principles of Wisdom , Service and Hope inspires us all to aim for academic excellence with an emphasis on wellbeing and a love of learning. We do all we can to motivate our pupils to be ambitious about what they can accomplish in life.

Our distinctive ethos encourages them to reach their full potential and develop their individual talents so they are equipped to contribute positively to the wider community.

Governing body (11 current, 3 former)

iAcademy trust: local governing body and trust board.

2 governors are linked to a profile (all confirmed).

Governors marked “Confirmed same person” have exactly the same forename and surname as the only officer of that name at the school’s own academy trust company on the Companies House register, so we treat them as the same person. The governance record itself comes from DfE.
