About

It is my absolute pleasure to welcome you to Newlands Primary Academy. We opened our brand new school in September 2025 . At Newlands, we are setting out on an exciting journey to create a vibrant, nurturing, and inspiring learning community where every child is known, valued, and encouraged to thrive.

As the founding Headteacher, I am proud to lead a school built on strong values and high aspirations. Our mission is to develop confident, compassionate, and curious learners who are not only well-prepared academically but also equipped with the skills and character to flourish in the wider world.

Our passionate and dedicated team is committed to delivering a broad, engaging, and inclusive curriculum that captures children's interests and ignites a lifelong love of learning. From the very start, we will offer rich learning experiences both inside and outside the classroom including outdoor learning, local exploration, and opportunities to connect with nature.

At Newlands Primary Academy, we believe in the power of partnership. We are excited to build strong, supportive relationships with parents, carers, and the wider community to ensure every child receives the very best start to their educational journey.
