At Mickley Village Primary and Nursery School we believe that all children deserve the best start to their education that we can give. We are able to accommodate children from the village and surrounding areas. We are fully accessible for disabled visitors and pupils, with ramped access and accessible toilet facilities.
We aim to give you a taster of the school, as well as providing up to date information for parents, pupils and the wider community. Our school is committed to safeguarding and the safety and well being of our children is at the forefront of all our school activities.
Visitors will be asked to prove their identity prior to being admitted into school and this may be further checked with the Governing Bodies of agencies if further clarification is needed. Our site is situated in Mickley Village, Stretton, near Alfreton, Derbyshire. We are a small school with 4 classrooms split over two buildings, plus a school hall, group room and library.
Each class is supported by at least one Teaching Assistant. The school was given Primary School status in September 2022 and now educates children from Nursery to Year 6
