Surbiton Hill Nursery's motto is, 'Every child, every chance, every day'. Nothing could better capture this school and its ethos. Children come into school happily, they get straight to work, both inside and outside. Their experiences do not end in the classroom. Visits out in the local environment broaden children's experiences.
These include to the library, the supermarket and the park. Ofsted report JUNE 2025 Our Nursery is the only maintained nursery school within the Royal Borough of Kingston upon Thames Local Authority. We were graded as OUTSTANDING by Ofsted for the sixth time in June 2025. This means our Nursery has been graded as outstanding for more than 25 years!
We are in essence an outdoor Nursery with a beautiful and exciting outdoor space for the children to learn and thrive in. We follow the forest school principles in all we do and have daily opportunities for the children to extend their skills in all weathers celebrating the seasonal approach to the curriculum and being led by the interests of the children themselves.
We offer Outstanding education and care as a part of the 15 hours universal offer for three and four year olds. This is term time only.
