About

iWritten by WhatSchool from official school data (Get Information about Schools, DfE and Ofsted).

George Tomlinson Primary is a wonderful school in the heart of our local community of Leytonstone. We are proud of our multi-cultural community, where all religions and nationalities are represented and celebrated. We strongly believe that education and learning is a ongoing process and is very much a partnership between home and school.

At George Tomlinson we believe that all children deserve quality first teaching that is supported by excellent curricular opportunities and extended services that nurture and engage children. We want our pupils to feel that when it comes to aspirations the sky is the limit and to prepare them fully for life at secondary school and beyond.

We believe in achieving Excellence through Enjoyment. We have a large building and exciting learning and play areas for all ages. We have a dance studio, a multi-games area, an exciting Science playground, a rooftop space and a hidden field for learning outdoors behind the houses on Vernon Road. We have an engaging and challenging curriculum that is accessible for all pupils.
