It gives me great pleasure to welcome you to St Mary's Primary School and I hope that our school website provides many of the answers to your initial questions. St Mary's is a popular, friendly and inclusive one form entry primary school, offering a Christian education to all children between the ages of 3 and 11 years. St Mary's can admit up to 30 pupils in each age group.
Our school has the added benefit of having a Nursery Class offering both morning and afternoon sessions, meaning our children get off to a great start.
Situated in the heart of the local community in Prestwich village, we were originally the Parish School (founded in the mid-1800s) and we continue to retain a strong presence within the parish as well as having strong and successful links with St. Mary's Parish Church.
