At Summerville Primary School we believe that children should be happy, challenged and secure. We aim to inspire our children to become confident independent learners who can achieve their full potential; as we believe learning should be fun, purposeful and challenging.
We aim to equip each child with the skills needed for lifelong learning through interesting and memorable learning opportunities each day. We have designed our curriculum to enable our children to think creatively and take pride in their achievements.
We treat ourselves, our peers, our community and our environment with respect and ensure it is an environment where the children can enjoy learning and have fun. We work together to achieve and share success. We challenge our children to be creative, positive and independent thinkers who strive to reach their full potential.
We nurture our children's social and emotional skills so that they can be confident in themselves and their decisions. We are committed to acting openly, honestly and ethically. We take responsibility for our decisions, our actions and their consequences. We are proud to be a 'No Outsiders' school which teach children about the Equalities Act through story books.
