About

'ETCHELLS is a GOOD school with OUTSTANDING Early Years and Leadership & Management' A very warm welcome to ETCHELLS Primary School We are a vibrant, happy, welcoming school and provide a stimulating and inclusive environment for learning. Etchells has continued to be judged a GOOD school with OUTSTANDING Early Years and Leadership & Management by Ofsted in October 2021.

We have an experienced, highly skilled and innovative team who work together to plan exciting and stimulating learning opportunities for our pupils, delivering a curriculum which is builit around 'Knowledge, Exploration and Communication'. We take pride in responding to the learner's interests and ensure that lessons are challenging, fun and purposeful.

We have a wonderful school environment with well-developed areas in the school grounds to maximize the children's learning both inside and out. We have an established Forest School on site which all our pupils participate in.

Our school incorporates a Resource Base for children with specific special educational needs which underpins our overarching philosophy of inclusion and Education for All. These children are integrated in all our classes where appropriate. We also have a 40 place nursery on site, as well as before and after school provision.
