About

A journey together of learning, happiness and success. At Rawdon Littlemoor Primary School we journey together; preparing our children to be successful in all aspects of their lives and to continue that success through into secondary school and beyond, by instilling in them a love of learning.

We believe passionately in enabling our children to develop lifelong learning skills including curiosity, the ability to problem solve and an understanding of the rewards of perseverance and hard work. We support our children to develop effective social skills, and emotional understanding and resilience.

Also, we give them opportunities to take responsibility, develop leadership, work collaboratively, compete, take the initiative, express opinions and listen to others. Our carefully planned thematic approach to learning embeds literacy, art, design technology, history and geography in our topics.

This gives children a real context and purpose for their learning and allows them to make links throughout all curriculum areas.
