About

iWritten by WhatSchool from official school data (Get Information about Schools, DfE and Ofsted).

Hello and welcome to our website. My name is Dawn Lowry and I am very proud to be the head of Yeadon Westfield Infant School. We love that our school is often recognised for having a wonderful, warm and welcoming feel and our environment is one of happiness and success for our children.

We have a hardworking staff who know their pupils very well and constantly strive to achieve the best for them, on an academic and pastoral level. We put the children at the heart of everything we do and work closely with parents to give our children the best start to their education they can possibly have. Our children love coming to school and can't wait to learn.

Please have a look around our website and if you have any questions please get in touch. We aim for all children to achieve at least 97% attendance. This means that children should only be absent from school when they are too ill to attend. Please make all medical appointments outside of the school day wherever possible and please do not book family holidays in term time.

Our term dates are available in the 'Parents and Carers' section of our website. Please report all sickness absences to the school office before 8:30 am. You can telephone 0113 2505449 or email . Absences can also be reported via our School Spider app. If your child has sickness or diarrhoea they must be kept off school for 48 hours after the last bout of illness.
