I am immensely proud to welcome you to Rotherfield Primary School, East Sussex. I hope that our website will give you a sense of what a warm and welcoming school we are. Rotherfield Primary School's strengths lie in its caring and nurturing environment, dedicated staff and governors, and above all the determination of our pupils to succeed.
Rotherfield Primary School is a one form entry school, and we have capacity for 210 children across 7 classes. The children are allocated one of our four house teams upon admission for intra school events and competitions. We are a friendly, caring school with high expectations for all our pupils.
Our children are encouraged to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities both inside and outside the classroom. We have recently started to develop a Forest School, with a fully trained teacher, and dedicated area in the local woods.
Our staff work hard to provide a safe, calm and stimulating environment where good behaviour and mutual respect is modelled by everyone and where everyone is valued.
