On behalf of the children, staff and Governors, I would like to welcome you to Balksbury Federation website. We hope you find our website clear, informative and easy to navigate. It is designed to give you a flavour of our federation, the work of our children and the quality of education we strive to deliver.
Our federation is based on the southwest of Andover and sits on a former Bronze Age site. At Balksbury Federation we are committed to delivering inspirational teaching that develops well rounded and responsible individuals who aspire to achieve their full potential.
We our want children to be articulate, confident and independent young people who benefit from being part of a happy federated community. It is important to all of us that children achieve to the best of their ability, whilst respecting the views of others, being polite and reflecting on self-discipline.
Our learning ethos is designed to motivate children's curiosity, through a mixture of first hand experiences, direct teaching, independent and collaborative work.
