A prep school with a history of fantastic results St. Martin s, founded in 1930, is a small independent co-educational prep school in the heart of Grimsby. The school is regarded as a beacon of academic excellence with outstanding success rates in National Tests and 11+ examinations.

We set high standards for your child's academic abilities, their attitude towards learning and their personal and social development. We recognise everyone's individual talents, encouraging the children to aim high, go above and beyond, and always fulfil their potential. This is aided by a stimulating and engaging curriculum within a welcoming and encouraging family atmosphere.

Throughout our history we have ensured a continued traditional approach to learning, encouraging our pupils to develop into independent and confident learners. 'Our daughter thrived during her time at St. Martin's Prep: she has moved onto Grammar school with motivation to succeed, a passion for school and resilience to face challenge.
