About

Children are at the centre of all we do We encourage everyone in our school community to live life well reflecting Christian attitudes and values and working in partnership with families as part of a wider, caring community.

The hallmarks of a Christian life lived well are shown in the fruits of the Spirit But the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, Joy, Peace, Patience, Kindness, Goodness, Faithfulness, Gentleness, Self-control. Against such things there is no law. Galatians 5:22 23 We are delighted to welcome children to start West Heslerton CE Primary School the term after they are 4 years old.

For those children born in the autumn or spring terms, we are able to offer a place in our Pre-Reception group. Places in our Pre-Reception facility are offered dependent upon pupil numbers in the class. Please contact school directly for places in Pre-Reception. There is no additional charge for Pre-Reception children.

Please note: accepting a Pre-Reception place does not guarantee a place in Reception. Places in Reception need to be requested through NYCC.
