Thurlbear CE VA Primary School is a seven class primary school in an idyllic setting in the hamlet of Thurlbear on the outskirts of Taunton. We are very proud of all that goes on here and as this website demonstrates the children at Thurlbear are supported in their learning by a dedicated team of staff, governors and parents.
We believe in working as a team, in partnership with parents, to ensure that each individual child's time at this school is both happy and successful. The principle aim of our school is to provide an excellent education for our children in an atmosphere of mutual respect, confidence and celebration.
As a team, we are committed to providing children with high quality and meaningful first hand experiences which develop our children into enthusiastic and dedicated learners. Our School Vision is to create an irresistible Church School; a beacon for learning experiences which lead to great life achievements.
