About

As Headteacher of our wonderful infant school, I feel incredibly privileged to lead such a happy, nurturing, and inspiring environment where our children can begin their educational journey with curiosity, confidence, and joy. Our school is a safe, nurturing, happy place. Where everyone feels valued and supported to be the best that they can be.

At Galley Common, childhood is celebrated, learning is exciting, and every child is known and valued as an individual. We believe that the early years are a crucial time for developing a love of learning, and we work hard to create a safe, supportive, and stimulating space where children can explore, play, and thrive.

Our dedicated and caring staff team are passionate about early education and committed to helping each child flourish academically, socially, and emotionally. We aim to build strong foundations that will last a lifetime. We also value the strong partnerships we build with families.

We know that children learn best when school and home work closely together, and we truly welcome the involvement of parents and carers in school life.
