Principal's Welcome Share Page Principal's Welcome Welcome to Barnsley Academy. I trust that the website will provide you with the information that you need and give you a flavour of academy life. I am delighted to introduce myself as the Principal of Barnsley Academy.
I feel privileged to lead the Academy and build upon the success already achieved by students and staff in recent years. My goal is to enable Barnsley Academy to provide your child with a world class education, so they leave as confident, determined, and ambitious young people with the best possible qualifications; their passport to a successful and fulfilled life.
I make no apology for having very high expectations of staff and students. At the Academy, we insist on excellent uniform and disruption-free learning in the classroom. We explicitly teach students how to behave well and the routines we expect throughout the school day, which are underpinned by our core values.
These expectations and routines are so important to ensure our students succeed.
