Welcome to William Hulme's Grammar School website and thank you for taking the time to visit us online. Founded in 1887, we are extremely proud of our long and distinguished history, which sits alongside a progressive approach to modern education.
Working closely with our families and the wider community, we offer a broad, ambitious and enriching education which equips students with the tools they need to succeed as they enter the next stage of their lives. We are also very proud to be the most popular school in Greater Manchester.
We are not complacent about this; it is achieved through the hard work of committed and expert staff who have exceptionally high standards and ensure that everything we do is for the benefit of our students.
Through our ethos of bringing out the Best in Everyone , each student is encouraged to fulfil their potential; we take great care to provide a supportive and inclusive learning environment which allows everyone to thrive, in all areas of their lives.
